It's common to feel awkward about blowing your own trumpet. But an interview is not the time to leave your instruments at the door! 🎺🎷🎸

Using facts is a great technique & can make the experience less cringe-worthy.

✴ Here are our 7 top tips;

✔ Know your numbers – Describe exactly how your territory is performing now & in the past.

✔ Detail how your sales to target has tracked over time. How did you influence these results?

✔ Give your sales numbers context. How do you compare to others in your team now & in the past?

✔ Showcase your sales awards & accolades. What did you do to receive this recognition?

✔ Even if you didn’t hit target, you can still show a positive impact. Perhaps you won new or previously lost accounts, turned around negative growth, or improved your sales ranking.

✔ Detail your most significant & rewarding sales achievement. This may be the toughest sale you have ever made. Describe the situation, your objective, illustrate your sales process, & quantify the end result.

✔ Thinking outside the square – Describe how a new sales approach or innovative idea that you developed & trialed was adopted by others?
